COVID-19 case definition was recently updated to include antigen testing. Previously, cases were only reported through polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing. Positive PCR test results are considered confirmed cases. Positive antigen test results are considered probable cases. Find more information here.

This data only represents lab-confirmed positive cases, and does not necessarily represent the full scope of COVID-19 in Goodhue County. Cases are recorded by the permanent residence of a lab-confirmed positive case. There may be additional cases that may work within Goodhue County, but reside elsewhere.
A note on Long-term Care Facilities and Corrections: exposure is defined as a person diagnosed with COVID-19 who worked or lived at a facility while they were contagious. Facilities with less than 10 residents will not be listed publicly due to privacy.
